So. Our Saturday got a new, unexpected project when the paint (the same exact color, mind you) we used to touch up our kitchen didn't match and then we ended up with a patchy mess. One of those frustrating "this is Africa" moments, maybe? Thankfully Kirk had the patience (and height) to help get this done without me totally dissolving into tears.

Our Masai Daddy has returned! He was given his own shuka (blanket), walking stick, and beaded necklace. After he showed them pictures of his girls, they gave him a Masai name that means "lucky man." We agree!
