So a couple of months ago, the girls decided that they wanted to sell some of their clay creations on the farmstand and donate half of the proceeds to charity. We said that we'd match their donation amount, and off they went to start creating. We sat down yesterday and went through a big list of suggested organizations to donate to (link in bio), talking about what each one does and what our family stands for and wants to support. We came up with some good recipients! Claire chose to donate to @theconsciouskid and @eji_org and Ainsley chose @bailproject and @black.thumb.farm. Cecily said that she liked all of them, so we chose @prisonbookprogram for her. Thank you so much to everyone who bought their sculptures. This has also inspired us to create an instagram for the farmstand so that we can highlight what we've been up to in our garden and the school garden. Follow us at @sweetpea_farmstand.
