Celebrated our 100th day of school today! She is 100% proud of herself! When I took the same picture for her older sisters, we never could've imagined a year like this. In our area, this means 100 days of distance learning (that's just this school year-not counting the fact that we've been home since last March). Sometimes it feels like the 1000th day. We still celebrated. Her teacher still read great stories and had them do the crazy hat craft and the gluing of 100 things onto a paper and making a snack counting by 10s to 100. I try to be careful not to refer to this as "homeschooling," because that would discount the hard work of teachers everywhere putting in 100x the time and 100x creativity to keep kids learning. Her teacher (all their teachers) have been 100% supportive and kind. And still, Kindergarten from a distance is 100% hard for everyone.
