Melbourne. Had a LONG day of driving and practice in being flexible. Experienced all types of weather (that sign says "yellow warning: heavy rain forecast," they were not kidding) and stopped for fun snacks and gorgeous scenery (the fields are full of lambs right now!). When we arrived in Melbourne, we had the warmest of welcomes and were treated to a fully array of English dishes. So fun meeting the family of our friend Kate from when we lived in France. The kids played dinosaur soccer and jumped on the trampoline like they've always known each other and we all stayed up too late chatting. Their hospitality was such a gift that turned a hard day into a beautiful one.
